How soon does JRS Medical ship orders?
In most cases all orders placed online before 4:00pm CST and phone orders placed before 3:30pm CST will ship the same business day. Our warehouse is open Monday - Friday excluding holidays.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, cashiers check, PayPal and sometimes company check for business customers and purchase orders can be accepted for companies and public institutions that can show credit worthiness.
What does this item requires a prescription, please contact us mean?
This means that we can not ship out this product until we receive the prescription. Please fax us over the prescription right after you place the order and we will ship out the product immediately after receiving the documents. Our Fax #: 901-755-6963
Do we ship Overnight Saturday Delivery?
Yes, we can ship next day orders for Saturday. If it's a Friday, please let us know and we will take care of that for you. There will be an additional $10 charge on top of the overnight shipping charge added to your order for this service because this is what the carriers charge us.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday - Friday: 8:00am to 5:30pm CST. On most weekends, we do try to check the messages to keep the queue as low as possible for the always busy Monday mornings. In addition, our live chat rep is also sometimes available over the weekends.
Is your site secure?
Yes, of course it is. Hacker Safe (logo at the top left of every page) does a daily scan of our site to guarantee our customers the highest level of security.
Why are your prices so low? Are the products refurbished?
Our business model is different from probably every other medical supply company. We keep our prices low by being an online company and not having the added expense of a retail store. We run on slim margins, but we are very confident that by providing excellent products and services we will continuously get the repeat business from our satisfied customers. And no, our products are not used or refurbished. They are all brand new.
How do we place an order by purchase order?
Place your order by faxing a hard copy Purchase Order to 901-755-6963 and also include a standard bank and trade reference form so that we may check credit worthiness. We will let you know either way whether you are approved or not and if not you may still be eligible to pay by cashiers check or company check. The minimum order for a company purchase order is $500. Please put an email address on the PO.
Is it faster to order over the phone?
No. Our system is designed to process orders in the order they are received, so phone and web orders arrive at the same time in shipping. You can also enter your information faster online than we can take it over the phone and this greatly reduces data entry errors.
Do you sell your customer's e-mail addresses?
No, of course not.
Is my order subject to state sales tax?
Orders shipped to Tennessee addresses are subject to state sales tax.
Do you send out samples?
We are sorry, but we do not send out samples. We do suggest that you purchase the smallest quantity available to make sure that the product is what you are wanting. If you contact the manufacturer directly, sometimes they might send you out a sample.
Do you accept Insurance or Medicare?
We are sorry, but we are unable to file the insurance claims for you. That is not to say that you can't get reimbursed. We do e-mail the order receipt to every customer once the order is placed online. From there, the customer can use this invoice to submit it to the provider for reimbursement. Of course, we can't guarantee reimbursement because that is between the customer and the provider.

HCPCS is an acronym for Health Care Procedure Coding System and refers to the system of coding for services and equipment used by physicians, medical equipment suppliers, and insurance companies.
